I remember awhile back I asked if anyone knew if $45 per dance lesson was a reasonable price, and most weren't sure. Well, I've found out it's a very reasonable price - at least out here

Yeah, it is definitely pricey - though unfortunately there's not much to choose from for lessons here.

I is really hard to concentrate, especially when worried about messing up, and smile. Hopefully once we get it down and are more comfortable we can loosen up.

It's really hard for me, especially since I don't have a lot of rhythm, but it was fun especially as we go a little more comfortable with some of the moves. I was surprised how much Mike enjoyed it and I hope we can afford to take more lessons soon.

Immediately I started thinking of the dance montages in DD when Lisa would dance directly with Baby.

Baby never danced with Lisa, it was Penny who helped her with the dancing... ;-) Just saying. I know the movie better than any other *lol* :P

Glad to hear the dance teacher was nice and that you feel comfortable enough with her, even if she's more expensive than the other place, but in this case I assume it'll be worth it in the end. Because I don't think taking the cheaper option and then feeling all awkward would have done much good...

Glad to hear your practices went well, though and I'm sure it's gonna be great at the wedding :D

*slaps forehead* I don't know why I wrote Lisa - for some reason I must have gotten confused with Swayze's real life wife.

It was definitely worth it so we can do our best at the wedding. We're definitely hoping for the best. :)
