Still haven't been able to find a shoe for the wedding. Jean and I went shopping again last week. I didn't think there was a point in going back to the stores we'd already been too, but since that was months ago, I hoped that maybe they got new shoes in. But it seemed like they had even less to offer than before. I talked to one of the salespeople

He definitely did not seem to know what he's talking about. Hopefully the specialist guy he recommended is a lot more knowledgeable.

I was definitely surprised to see the website Jean showed me - some of the pics I saw were completely identical to my toe.

For the shoes, maybe just order them on Amazon and keep looking in the meantime? You can always send them back if they arrive too late...

As for you toe, I don't think you should be doing something about that before your wedding. You have enough to deal with as it is but maybe get another opinion from another doctor when everything is over and done with? Really find out if it can cause you any big problems in the long run and if it's worth getting the surgery for.

That's what I'll probably do.

I'm definitely waiting to do anything regarding my toe until after the wedding. If I decide to look for more information, I'll be talking to the specialist the other doctor recommended.
