I found an odd vegetable at Shaw's yesterday. They called them "vidallia scallions" . They looked like big heading scallions with a white bulb at the end. Almost Leek-like. I'm assuming they are just immature vidallia onions.

I've become a huge fan of the mini onions that come in those bags that shallots usually come in. They're awesome and stay fresh for a lot longer than big onions.
