They body of Christ does have a way of feeding on itself, I've noticed. The especially delicious parts seem to be those in the ministry. But maybe I'm paranoid.

Care to tease your statement out a bit? Am I married to the church? Should I not be? I know we're just continuing the Job theme, but I am curious, since you've had bad experiences working in a church, too.

I hope you get lots of rest the next few days... When I have very little sleep I tend to get sick if I don't catch up..which is why I am sick right now. Anyway, I hope you are well rested soon. I thought you were pretty tough to go to your second job... if I were in this situation I would have called in...and I never call in! Hope the rest of November is good for you Dave.

I wasn't happy. I'd actually gotten over bronchitis just a few days before. I still have the cough. And I seriously considered calling in, but toughing it out was the right way to go, even though it was miserable.

I hope November is good to you, too! Nice to hear from you again.
