That seems like a case a judge could have handled, but of course I'm speaking from a country where we don't have juries;) I'm glad you could at least enjoy yourself with the witness. That is an awesome description:)

Here, the right trial by jury is considered a civil liberty. You can waive your right to a jury trial in most states, and then have a bench trial which is just decided by a judge, but that's rare.
