I suppose when you become famous for being famous, you need to work pretty hard to remain a topic of conversation. Because there are so few celebrities who can stay in the news because of the substance of their talents, alas.

Yes, I think you're right there... or at least the celeb world is so bloody crowded these days, celebs need to do something to stand out from the masses of other celebs.

Still... interesting comments, coming from a stage manager.

Speaking of which - cool seeing you a week and a half ago! I should have known you'd still be exercising your stage manager muscles. :)

Welcome to this madness!

*g* Nice start. Then again, I hadn't the foggiest what Madonna looked like for at least a couple of years after I started to listen to her songs (well, ok, you couldn't avoid them, at least I liked a number of them :-)... and I remain mostly oblivious to the look of various music folks

Janet Jackson was better, music-wise, before she started showing more skin so often.
