I'm watching SV and pretty much everyone I know that is watching is absolutely loving Ollie -- both people who know DCU canon and those who don't. I think he's fabulous, my only complaint is pairing him with Lois. Ugh. I'd much rather see him with Chloe -- there's so much good snark potential there.

I agree that Lex isn't getting much of a plotline lately and that saddens me. But I don't think Ollie's going to be around all season, so things should change.

Great icon. I need to get myself a GA icon. Did you ever see the Aquaman pilot? It was horrid, but I was like, who is this cute boy and who can we slash him with? This works a lot better. *grins*

They have to leave Chloe open to rekindle things with Jimmie Olsen (who fortunately apparently retains his cannon crush on CK), so I see why they went that way. But yeah, Lois is just not up to snark par.

But since they are clearly just setting things up with Ollie dating Clark, it's just as well. (Which of course will make Clark angst a bit remembering his former billionaire beau.) *grins*

I just fear that they might start flailing about Clark not residing in permanent relationship angst and start throwing one or both of the female LLs at him.

I know there was some promo stuff that implied Lois/Clark/Ollie love triangle. I'd be happy with a threesome, but I somehow don't think we're going to get that in primetime on the CW. Clark and Ollie though? Mmm.

Poor Jimmie, I just don't really care for him as he's presented on SV. Chloe can do so much better, especially since Jimmie clearly does have that crush on Clark.

I did see the Aquaman pilot and it was horrid. They guy makes a much better Green Arrow. Mmm. Now if only we could flash forward and have Roy (Arsenal) and Dick (Nightwing) on the show too. Then I would truly be a happy girl.

Stupid love triangles. We can always hope that with their new sexier image the CW will embrace the awesomeness that is threesomes. *sigh* Or that the love triangle is overtly Clark and Lois both vying for Ollie. Because that could be fun.

Word. I mean they already have shown a varient of one Teen Titan (Cyborg was a TT in one of its incarnations, I am pretty sure, just with a rather different backstory), so what's the harm in filling out the team?

Of course who I would REALLY love to see would be Project 13 (Kon El), because canon sons of Lex and Clark should be pointed out. But I also think that the CW would feel a little off about that.
