So it occurs to me that it's January, and in January I always have to plan out any geeky events for the year. What cons are you all going to this year? If there is another Winchestcon, I am going to definitely hope not to get screwed out of attending again (having already paid and then having to back out made me very sad). Any other cons I

Worldcon is in Japan this year and if it wasn't for the money, I'd be considering just for the coolness of visiting Japan. It's the first time that Worldcon will be held in an country where English isn't the primary language.

Other than that, I'm looking at Tribal Forces: multifandom, fan run, and Phauxcon multifandon, fan run. Both were rec'd to me by flisters and have the virtue of being local - Philly.

Other than that, I might randomly pick the regional science fiction conventions or the big gaming conventions, depending on which ones my friend the game designer is going to.
