The End of an Era

Welp....went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 last night.

While I didn't sob like I predicted...I did cry...it was a silent stoic cry. The kind you feel when you've reached a satisfying end to a piece of your childhood.

Now there were a few changes I was eh about, and maybe a few things I'd have wanted to happen

I cried when he was in the Forest and Remus and Sirius and his parents were with him. Then I just laughed at the epilogue. Now that it's committed to film, I wish even harder that it did not exist. The final shot of the three of them at Hogwarts before the epilogue would have been amazing.

Well, I'm a sucker for happy ending...so I liked seeing the trio living happy lives with kids and such...made all full circle like. But I know I'm in the minority on that one.

But did you see the fake beard they gave Draco? Pretty much ruined my favourite character right there, lol.

Yeeeeeeah. I kinda lol'd at that but it was better than how he looked before. They all looked better than the original pics...so I'm satisfied.
