I'm guessing someone's copied the information and apparently tried to make purchases online and my bank was like, "Umm, no."

So now I have to go through all the hassle of notifying all the people involved and waiting on a new card.

That's crazy, I've even considered somebody stealing debit information...I always thought credit was the easiest.

That sucks. At least your bank is being helpful, though.

Yeah and PayPal actually gave me the person's name...or at least the name on the account who has been using my number. So, fuck you Erica Brown.

My bank is very helpful and said that after I fill out some paperwork, they'll get on getting the funds placed back into my account.

I can't get over how much this sucks, it's good that your bank is going to refund you though. And hopefully the companies you bought from will work with you, I'm sure they will if you explain what is going on.

Yeah, I'm contacting all the places the person used my account info at. PayPal were super nice and have put a stop on the person, whose name I have now, (so Erica Brown fuck you), and their account and are going to file claims on that.

Sadly the 75 bucks in AT&T charges will have to wait until tomorrow to be claimed.

Been there, got my info stolen at Applebee's about 4 years ago. Have you filled out a police report? I did, went to court, girl got probation but still, I felt better.

I have a name but nothing more...and no clue if that's her real name...I don't think she lives in TN because the charges were made from like New Jersey and such. It's not worth the court charges since Bank of America claims I'll get it all back. Now, if I weren't getting my money back...oh yeah...I'd be PISSED and all about getting me some retribution!
