Muse - The Resistance

Like it. A lot.

Particularly the opening track which sounds like they are singing over the top of the Doctor Who theme tune.

I'll be buying it when it comes out.

Not heard it yet? It's available to stream for free from The Guardian's webpage:http://www.

I bought it on Monday. Jury is still out. I'll let you know in a month what I think of it when I've played a thousand times. Bearing in mind that Absolution is the best album ever made in my opinion, it's going to have to be good to get anywhere close.

Black Holes And Revelations has some fab tracks and is a great album but it doesn't hang together in the same way that Absolution does.

I hadn't realised it was out yet - I thought it came out next Monday.

Absolution is brilliant, but I think my favourite tracks are from Black Holes and Revelations.

However, they are the ones I saw them play the only time I've seen them live and finally got why Louise raved so much about them.

To be honest I'm not sure how good it is as an album. I like all but one of the tracks, but I'm not sure how well it flows yet - again I'll see after I've listened to it 1000 times. All I know for certain is that it sounds awesome while you are cooking tea.

I'm not paying for it on itunes - if i just wanted a downloaded copy on my PC I'd just go on limewire. If i pay for a song i want a real copy of it.

I've only heard it on the guardian's webpage so it is all one continuous track and doesn't have any song titles.

I like the 'doctor who' one, the 'queen' one and another one that is about halfway through the album that sounds a bit more like their traditional stuff.

helpful, eh?
