Wow. It's like one of those intricate pictures where you see the object and inside the picture they're seeing the object and inside that...

Very powerful and unexpected.

I have to confess, one of the things that intrigued me most about this little plot bunny is how the line between reality and a delusion can be so blurred, it's easy to mistake one for the other. And with Wilson's family history of mental illness, and everything he's gone through all the way back to season 1 in Babies & Bathwater, it just seemed to make sense that Wilson hasn't been handling things as well as he thought he has. :)

Thank you very much for your feedback. *hugs*

intriguing twist - though it's even more heartbreaking than canon.

I loved that House is so worried about Wilson that it seems he has aged ten years.

great job.

*offers you a tissue* :)

Guess they could both use a good hug about now, huh?

Thanks for dropping by my little nook of the LJ universe to read my story. :)

Really cool story. Had to go back and read it twice, which was part of the fun of it. In many ways, it makes a lot more sense to me that Wilson would be more screwed up by all of this. Kutner's tragedy, layered with old grief for Amber, plus the burden of responsibility for his brother and House... potent stuff.

Thanks for this!

Hopefully some things made a whole lot more sense the second time around. :)

And I totally agree with you. With everything that's happened to Wilson over the past five seasons, the poor man has to be a ticking time bomb of insanity.* And to borrow another phase, "And I mean that will all the love in the world." ;)

So happy you liked my version of events. Your feedback is very much appreciated.

*Geeky reference from the X-Files, Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'. :)

A sick!Wilson episode or story arc by St. Doris would be absolutely awesome! :p I'd offer to name my first born after her, but my son might have a few objections. ;)

Still, fangirl can always dream.

I really loved your take on this - I have to admit that the whole period right up to House's admission are prime Wilson angst.

thanks for sharing and I hope you post again soon

Glad you enjoyed my little twist. :)

I just thought everything that had been going on had to be affecting Wilson more than he let on, and turning the tables seemed like an interesting way to explore that.

Thanks much!
