Another drabble. I was mostly pushed to share this because of everyone's encouragement that I should post drabbles more often, so here it is. I really don't think it's as good as Perfection turned out, but it was worth a shot.

Draco wonders if there will be beautiful things where he goes; he hopes that there is no snow to remind him of the mother who left with the seasons, or empty houses where happy families were supposed to live. He hopes there is rain and falling leaves and setting suns, people who smile and the music that goes along with it.

But most of all he hopes that there will be a boy waiting for him by the beach, a boy who was pretty in a way that maybe someday he'd be beautiful, and they'd finally swim in the ocean just as he'd promised.

I have fallen off my chair.

And the 'ocean' part--you haven't, by any chance, read At Swim, Two Boys, have you?

But still. BEAUTIFUL. And I just finished UL. So even more beautiful, and my head is up in the clouds. *weeps* You are love.

And I forgot to ask--in the icons you have, with the text? The 'he was pretty in a way that maybe someday he'd be beautiful'--did you make those up? And if you didn't, where did they come from?

Ah, yes indeed I made up the line. I can't remember when the inspiration came, but I wrote it down one day and it stuck with me.

Gah, I haven't got the chance to read UL yet! Just got back from the Release Party, but I shall elaborate further later!
