I don't think we should go to war, I think we should send a few operatives in to assasinate Saddam (and a select few around him). That's a tall order but I think getting rid of him would solve a lot of the issues.

The CIA had converted some of his highest ranking officials and were ready to stage a coup. Somehow, Saddam got tipped off. He didn't know which few were the traitors, so he had HUNDREDS of military officers, ministers and their families killed. He believes he knows if someone will become a traitor even before that person thinks about becoming a traitor. Based on his "gut instinct" he has murdered hundreds of others like this.

He was in prison for murder in the 1960s. His uncle came to power in a military overthrow around 1969. At that point Saddam went from a murderer in prison to the chief of the Iraqi secret police.

Nice way to climb the career ladder, huh?

He is the definition of the word "monster". Right up there with Hitler and all the others. He'll get his, that's for sure.
