Thought I'd mentioned it earlier, but maybe I didn't. Back in May, Lonney’s school informed her that they would not be offering Latin any more. Theoretically, she could stay in the OKC School District if somebody else retires or quits at the last minute. She’s certified only in Latin, but she could teach English as a Second Language, and has applied for an opening that came up at a south side elementary school. She’s also put her application in to the Edmond public school system, and for a couple of adjunct positions at local community colleges, but those are admittedly long shots. Long range game plan is to get certified in ESL, and she lacks only two or three classes for that, so she’ll be doing some more school this fall regardless. As the adventure continues...
