strange fruit

i just bought a box of prunes* for the first time in my life. i remember being inexplicably anti-prune as a worldly, picky-eating kid, writing them off as food for old people. my grandmother always kept them in the depths of her fridge, and at some point i came to understand that they were really only there to facilitate #2. my distaste for prunes

I remember liking prunes, though I can't remember the last time I had one. I don't think I have even noticed them for sale anywhere...

yeah i've tried to get into prunes so many times because i have digestion problems (like, sometimes i don't poop for 3 days). i wish i was into it so bad :(
