This is so hollow and helpless and lovely. I like the play between Gamma and Reborn and Shamal. The scene with Bianchi is well played, too. THE WHOLE THING, OK?

But this line especially, for some reason:

There really aren't enough well-written fics about Gamma. :| Gamma fics in gen. And this is really lovely, seeing into his nature and all the interactions with people that he knows. I especially laughed at the Shamal part, him just walking in and the doctor is having sex and he says, "The room's big enough to breathe. Have fun and don't forget that."

i find that i write about gamma when xanxus is just completely being an ass atm and refuses to be written down. 8( he's a great guy to poke around with when i'm blocked around the varia area of writing, lol. i'm glad you liked it!

I seriously love the nuance this gives to Gamma and Uni's relationship, and what his love for her might entail. This is lovely: There's a feeling of fullness that comes to him. Can't be love, it's not the right year and it's not the right person. But it's close. And if he has to see another death to see her smile, well, so be it.

I also really like the bit where you don't ask Reborn how he feels about Bianchi. They are a bit fascinating to me and that nails the reason why.

I think there are a few typos:
He'd never occured to him that he and the doctor were very good friends --> It had never occurred
how is not there when he was needed the most. --> how he is not there?
not before hearing and outraged Gokudera Hayato see his friend. --> an outraged Gokudera
he was warned by the boss of Varia, among all people --> of all people?

PS it is also randomly hilarious to have this line: Gamma looks at him at the corner of his eye and decides that there is nothing freakier than seeing a kid smoking a cuban while looking at him with smile
