Enemies as comrades. Russia can be so cruel (but I liked how you showed his character without the rapetruck characterization that gets ragged on in this community). Plus, Turkey (I will not make a pun joke, I will not!)

Your writing is totally readable, too. The final image is very appropriate...

this had a great feel to it, if that makes any sense? i truly enjoyed reading how you portrayed both of them (both turkey especially)
