Prayer

My parents use to have me say this prayer before I went to sleep every night...
When I was about three.

"Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take."

It use to give me nightmares.

My parents told me that one too!!!
But it wasn't the rhyme that gave me the nightmare.
It was my parents.

my nightmares came because I saw figures in that dark, hxc. But my mom said that one, but it was longer. Then she'd sing me a song about a worm who got killed in the end. so pleasant.
