“Hey, are you sure you’re okay?” asked the red head, worry still evident on his handsome face as he looked at the soaked silent guy beside him. “At least let me take you to where you’re going.” he added. He must have been crying… poor guy… I wonder what happened…
Donghae weakly smiled at the man who has the hold on the umbrella they are sharing. “Ahh... no, thank you. I wouldn’t want to bother you.” The stranger makes him feel awkward… though he thinks he had seen him before from somewhere. Thinking that he can’t search him in from his memories, he just sighed in surrender and stared blankly at the wet road they are taking.
“No, please! I insist! It’s okay; helping you wouldn’t be much of a bother. Let me take you somewhere safe, okay? Uh… to where you live?” the red head gently said with that cute gummy smile of his, irking this ‘curious’ side of Donghae once again because he really is familiar. Donghae puffed his cheeks as he embraces himself due to the chills sending his spine after stealing a short glance on the guy, who was currently fixing his hold on his travel bag. “Thank you. I could hold the umbrella for you.”
Once again, he was bedazzled by the smile of the stranger. Why did he let this unknown guy bring him home in the first place?
Minutes after, they got absorbed in various topics, which they switched from time to time, constantly laughing at some silly similarities that they discovered about themselves. They were having so much fun under the rain that Donghae almost failed to realize that they are already in front of his dormitory building.
As they stepped inside the lobby, Donghae twisted his body and turned to his companion with a childish smile, his tone rising because of happiness… probably? “We’re here! Thank you for walking me home!”
“No problem. Be careful next time, okay? See you around.” answered the red-haired with his infamous angelic smile that made the blonde’s world stop the second time that night. Donghae vigorously nodded while raising his right hand as sign of promise before turning to skip towards the elevators, trying to run as fast as he can to stop his stupid heart for beating fast.
Donghae was about to turn the knob, but he suddenly remembered something. Fuck. Of all things, I forgot to ask for his name! I didn’t even give him my name!
“AISH! Where am I?!” Hyukjae frustratingly sighed and then looked around. Where the hell is that Seoul High Boys’ Dormitory? He turned around and was about to go out of the building, stopping when he saw a large ‘Seoul High Boys’ Dormitory’ sign on the reception area. What do you know, that guy must be a lucky charm!
He excitedly took the elevator while fishing a small paper from his bag, smiling as he pressed the 11th floor button. When he reached that floor, he ran eagerly to his boyfriend’s room number, biting his lips at the thought that he could finally see his lover after months of being away from him.
He impatiently tapped his foot on the floor while waiting for someone to open the door after knocking three times, grinning like an idiot when he heard that sweet voice owned by his loved one. When it finally opened, he was greeted by the beautiful smiling face of his boyfriend. “HYUKKIE~!! You came! I thought you were lost or something!” said Sungmin as he engaged Hyukjae in a bone-crashing hug.
“M-Ming... I can’t breathe!” said Hyukjae trying his hardest to break free from Sungmin’s deathly grip. His boyfriend is a black belter in martial arts, after all.
“Oops sorry, Hyukkie~ I just missed you sooooooooooo much!” Sungmin giddily said before giving a peck on his boyfriend’s thick lips. “Aww~ I’ve missed you too, Minggg~” Hyukjae replied with another sweet peck on the smaller guy’s lips.
“Oh my god, why are you wet?!” Sungmin squealed the moment he noticed that his lover was, indeed, soaking, when he knows that he has an umbrella.
“Here you go. Dry yourself first! So, what took you so long?” asked the older as he let Hyukjae in before giving him a towel, which he randomly grabbed from the nearest closet. “Thanks. Err... actually, yeah… I was kind of lost. I saw this guy who was about to be ran by a truck and then I pulled him away and...”
“Minnie? Do we have a visitor? Who is it?” A blonde guy, who was wet all-over, only a piece of towel covering his lower part, came inside the living room. “Oh, Hae! You’re finished! I would like you to...” Whatever Sungmin might have said became a blur and Hyukjae felt himself drool at the sight.
Donghae widened his eyes and almost pointed a finger at the guy, “Hey! You’re the gummy guy from earlier who is obsessed with strawberries!” Sungmin altered his gazes to his best friend and his to equally surprised boyfriend. “How do you know each other? I haven’t introduced you properly yet…”
“Minnie, he was the one I told you who brought me here! I didn’t know he was your boyfriend! So, that’s why I found him familiar!”
Sungmin palmed his forehead, “I knew it. You aren’t paying attention to me when I’m telling you things…” Donghae just grinned sheepishly at his best friend.

The sun’s rays went through the windows of the red head’s room and hurt said man’s eyes thru its closed lids. With a heavy groan, Hyukjae smiled; today is his first day in school, and the thought of meeting new friends in this amazing place excites him. He got up, quickly took his towel and headed off to the bathroom, his infamous gummy smile painted on his face.
He casually opened the door to the bathroom and did his morning rituals. You know, face the throne and let out what has been hidden inside you for the past hours… something like that.
He pulled his shirt up, followed by his pajama pants. He swiftly opened the shower curtain and…
“WHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!”
Hyukjae instantly closed the curtain, grabbed his towel and ran outside of the bathroom; he just saw Donghae taking a bath, naked… well, who would take a bath all clothed…? Some. I do sometimes take a bath with my boxers on, okay. You can’t blame me.
“Hey! What’s the matter? Did I hear Hae scre…am? What… are… you…” Sungmin’s innocent doe eyes slowly darted downwards to Hyukjae’s exposed lower portion, a deep shade of blush painting his chubby cheeks as he diverted his eyes to somewhere… else. Hyukjae followed his lover’s gaze, ending up getting equally shocked, so he hastily wrapped the towel around his waist.
“UWAAAAAAAA~!!!!! I AM NOT A VIRGIN ANYMORE!!! MY DREAM OF BUMMIE BEING MY FIRST IS NOW GONE!!!!! BOOM! NO ONE’S GONNA MARRY ME ANYMORE~!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!! YOU RUINED MY DREAMS~!!! I HAVE NO FUTURE!! I’M GONNA GROW UP AS A LOVELESS, HOPELESS OLD HAG!!!! I WILL BE FOREVER ALONE!!!! UWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!”
Hyukjae and Sungmin exchanged cynic looks for a whole minute before Hyukjae asked, “Is he really your best friend? Where the heck have you found such a weirdo??”
“YAH!” a playful smack from the smaller landed on Hyukjae’s arm. “Hae is nice! It’s your fault for not checking if there is someone inside!” countered Sungmin with his forever cute pout.
“Is it my fault if he didn’t lock the door?”
“Oh. Yeah, right. Okay.”
Pish. don’t be so full of yourself. You’re not even sexy. Hyukjae angrily mumbled as he glances at the closed door, frowning at the sound of Donghae’s continuous wails, after Sungmin returned to the kitchen.

“Ne, Hyukkie, Are you excited? Today is your first day here in our school! You have to go to the Principal’s office first to know your class! OH! I hope we’re to be in the same class, right?” Sungmin giddily said, altering his excited gazes to the two guys with him. “Yeah, yeah…” answered Hyukjae nonchalantly, not even understanding some words his energetic boyfriend said.
Then, Sungmin fixed his gaze to his best friend, who was currently staring at nowhere, “What do you think, Hae?”
Donghae slowly tilted his head to look at the smaller guy, a blank expression on his face until… “… my virginity is gone Minnie~ He took it away from meeeeeeeeee~!!!!” cried Donghae all over again while accusingly pointing a finger at the stunned Hyukjae and clutching Sungmin’s arm.
“Aish,” Sungmin irritatingly removed Donghae’s grip on his arm as he walked faster, leaving Hyukjae and Donghae staring at each other with disgusting looks.
Donghae just pouted when Hyukjae shook his head before following the other. No one could just understand him.
However, just as he was about to take a step forward, he thinks he saw someone far away from them, probably watching them. But when he looked at that direction, there was no one. Probably just my imagination… He shrugged it off and went to follow the couple.

“These are the things that you will need, Mr. Lee.” said the Principal after handing a bundle of papers to the new student. “Now, I will be briefing you with some of the rules and regulations…”
Outside the principal’s office stood Sungmin and Donghae, and was about to go to their own class when Donghae suddenly froze on his spot. Sungmin tilted his head to look at the younger, his eyes following Donghae’s gaze, gulping after realizing who Donghae was looking at.
There, Kibum stood in front of him with, as far as Donghae remembers, two other freshmen from Kibum’s class. “Good morning, hyung.” Kibum awkwardly politely greeted with a short bow. An eerie atmosphere enveloped the whole corridor. ‘It was just yesterday... You used to call me baby. And now, you are calling me hyung… Why are you like this, my Bummie~!!!’
Memories of the past came running through the blonde’s mind like a movie being played. From the moment they met, became friends, and when the younger suddenly became his ultimate crush. He also remembered when Kibum shyly confessed to him. He was the happiest fangirl man at that moment! Their first date at the Aquarium, their first hug, and their first kiss, were all magical moments in Donghae’s life that he would never ever want to let go and forget.
And then it went fast forward.
The memories of yesterday at the Amusement park came. From the roller coaster ride till their last, the Ferris wheel, and up to the painful farewell they shared…
Donghae could feel his eyes water at the painful memory but was able to hold himself, which is actually a first. He didn’t want to cry in front of his former lover.
He clutched on his necklace - Kibum’s last gift to him - to pick himself up and mumbled a shaky “Mhmm” in reply, holding a sob.
Beside Kibum, there is the shortest of the three freshmen, with a familiar - in Sungmin’s opinion - lanky boy sneaking from behind that small petite student, as if he could be hidden. Blushing the deepest shade of red, he tripped on the shorter man’s foot, losing his balance and fell on the floor, ruining the gauche atmosphere.
Sungmin found himself smiling at the silliness of the hoobae.
“Let’s go Minnie.” Donghae simply said as he walked past through Kibum without giving the younger a glance. I will get over you... in time. Sungmin followed without a single word, knowing what his best friend is going through right now.
I’m so sorry, my baby... Please don’t give up on me... I promise to fix this. I will come back. Just please... please wait for me... was all Kibum wanted to say, but he just stared at the retreating figure of the love of his life.
“Bwahahahaha!!!! You are such a dork, Kyuhyunnie! What are you doing anyways? Sungmin sunbae still saw you and even laughed at you too!!!” laughed the small guy named Ryeowook, which, at least, made Kibum smile.
“That’s all the papers you need and here is your schedule. You may go now Mr. Lee.” said the Principal. “Thank you very much sir.”
The door to the Principal’s office then, opened, revealing a red-haired guy, Hyukjae. Kibum looked at the red head with distaste. He didn’t like the aura this new guy has been showing off to an unknown reason. Hyukjae, on the other hand, looked at Kibum from head to toe, analyzing the features of the young man, having the same thought as the younger. Both of them didn’t really like their first impressions on each other. They just don’t know why.
During lunch, the three Lees ate together. Again, Sungmin was the one who talks the most. The awkward events in the morning were somehow forgotten and the two love birds just enjoyed the company of one another.
“Minnie, are you hungry?” asked the red head. “YES! SUPER HUNGRY!” moaned Sungmin enthusiastically while rubbing his tummy. “Come on. I’ll feed you with my love.” said Hyukjae cheekily as he grabbed his lover’s wrist, earning a playful smack from the latter who was blushing a deep shade of pink.
Donghae just stared at the couple in front of him. He was happy for his best friend; for finally being together with his love. But then, somehow, Donghae felt a little alone. He still misses Kibum SO MUCH LIKE NO OTHER. After all, Kibum is his first love.
“Ne, Minnie, did it hurt?” Hyukjae, once again, asked. “What?” answered Sungmin innocently, oblivious at what his boyfriend is planning. “…When you fell from heaven?” Yet again, another cheesy line from Hyukjae.
Donghae could only smile at the couple. He can’t help but feel jealous.
“Oh! Hyukkie, you need to join a club, right?” Sungmin asked, his cheeks puffing due to the amount of food in his mouth. “I know! You should join the dance club! Hae, he still can join, right? He’s the best dancer you know!” Sungmin proudly said at his best friend.
“Mhmm... He must go through the auditions, though.”
“Then can he go for the auditions later?” inquired Sungmin. “Please guide him, Hae... PLEASE? You’re the only one I could trust!” There goes their aegyo king…
“YAH! I am not a babysitter!”
He still agreed, though. Who could resist Sungmin when he’s on the top level of his cuteness?
After classes, the three went to the dance studio. One was for the auditions, the other one was for his daily dance practice, and the other one was... for cheering, he said so himself.
Upon entering the dance studio, loud music and squeaking shoes were heard, lifting Hyukjae’s dancing spirits up.
“GUYS! Someone here wants to go for an audition!” announced the blonde. Then, a brief introduction was made and soon, the red head was once again lost in his own world of dancing.
Somewhere behind the dance club members was cursing. “SHIT! And why is that fucking bitch here again? I swear I hate seeing his face! He thinks he is so beautiful!” that someone hissed under his breath.
“Shh... Chullie-ah. Stop it. He’s just here to support his boyfriend.” said a Chinese man.
“PSH! But I don’t want hi-” the diva suddenly shut his mouth when the China man stared right through his eyes.
“He is your dongsaeng’s best friend, so just stop it and watch Hyukjae-ssi.”
The scarlet-haired then faced the front, staring at the newbie’s smooth moves. ‘He’s good!’ he admitted. Somewhere along his viewing, his hawk-eyes landed on his favorite dongsaeng.
He saw the blonde staring intently at the dancing newbie, mouth slightly opened and eyes showing a tiny bit of desire.
The diva smirked at this and an evil plan developed in his evil mind. A smug smirk formed on his lips.
‘I’m gonna make that bitch know where he belongs....’
