Small Towns and Battling Burlesque Promoters

I see so often people unwilling to go to existing successful burlesque nights in small towns, instead feeling they have to start their own and "declare war" on existing promoters

I not only completely agree, but wish that if people do have the passion and interest to run a night, that they also have the ability to actually pull it off and back it up with relevant skills
