Doesn't the CNN hologram thing look suspiciously like the video for Take On Me?

You're so right. I had kinda planned on blogging through the evening, but I've been sitting back and being both entertained and enraged by the Fox Election centre streaming live - it is actually hilarious to watch the empty barrels they have on there tonight tearing each other apart.

I blogged all the way through, but it wrapped up a lot quicker than I thought. I was tired from the sheer energy I had to put up to switch between msnbc, comedy central and cnn though, so I just went to sleep.

So now: what happens next?

Well, that's the .64 trillion dollar question, right?

Obama's biggest challenge during transition will be to reset expectations so he doesn't suffer from the backlash caused by his administrations inevitable inability to solve all of America's problems. The country as a whole has taken a very important step forward in this election, but they need to realise that it is a long, non-travelated, road ahead of them to tackle the issues many will expect to be solved overnight by a black liberal president.
