Why manflu is better than tickly coughs

At least with bloody manflu you can lay up for a day or two, take shedloads of drugs, eat plenty of soup and not leave the house. Manflu inspires sympathy from your male peers and mocking from the women folk but at least it can be said to be in some way debilitating

I had a tickly cough a few days ago... it's now full blown 'flu. The worst part is the intermittent fevers. Oh and the hyper-sensitive skin isn't great either... my clothes hurt.
