Latooni had been waiting for a while for Akito to show up, but she didn't mind. She did, however, wished that she took that extra time to sneak back and change into her normal outfit rather than the dress that Simon and Nia got her to wear. She was still kind of shy about having other people see her in it.
Akito picked his head up and blinked. The girl kind of resembled Latooni. I mean, she had the same hair, and the same color eyes... but that outfit was.. well, different, to say the least. And yet somehow, it suited her. Lifting himself back up, he looked to the side a little and brushed off his nose. "You, um, look nice..." he said, at a slight loss for words.
"Anyway, let's get going. Have you ever taken the subway before?" he asked as the train drew up to the platform.
"Oh, to the- uh..." Crap. Akito hadn't thought that one out. Latooni was... what kind of things did she like? She played that video game once. The arcade maybe? Nah, that didn't seem like tons of fun, especially since Akito wasn't very good at video games. Movies? Nah, there was nothing playing anyway. Shopping? No, didn't seem like her kind of thing.
"Well... it's a surprise! Yeah, a surprise!" he said, after a sudden idea. "You'll see when we get there." He continued thinking while they were on the train, watching the ads as they went by. There were certainly a lot of animal themed ads. Animals... That was it! The zoo!

"A couple of times before. I've gone into the city to get gifts for people." Latooni looked at the approaching train. "So where are we going?"
