Megaplex is not a sales con, it's small and more of a get together for the locals. Not many people I know who went for selling make anything back.

No real insight on the others.

I was wondering about megaplex. it's been around for like 10 years, but they still had dealer's space, and only like 600 people. But cool, I guess I will cross that one off :3

Indyfurcon is new, so i'm kind of just hoping it's somewhere close to as good as MFF.

It was started for a puppet show, 'Pawpet Megaplex' was the original name..that will give you an idea of the type of people who still go.

All my art friends tried it once, and never went back. XD

I'm curious about indy too, if you guys go, tell me how it is.

Yeah, definitely. It looks pretty promising, since it's supposed to get the same crowd as MFF, as a sort of Midwest con in between MFF and whatever other con they have out there. Though, if you want to come you're welcome to ride with us, but I'm not sure on the room situation O:

Idk about the rest the only ones I'm looking to go to this and next year is IFC and MFF. Next is FCN, IFC, MFF, Morphicon, and some maybe in TN.

Definitely XD and yeah, next year I want to do FCN. I just wasn't in a good situation then, and it was close to so many other cons. I may try Morphicon, but it's such a small con, I doubt I could make enough to cover costs :(

Lol its like RIGHT before my birthday so its been hard to get to FCN.

And idk I've seen people go there and make decent money, but yah it might not make enough. I'm not terribly sold on it yet, but I would get to meet some Ohio friends and go to Jungle Jims. JJ's is always an excuse xD.

i didn't go this year cause it's a fairly new con, but it doubled it's attendance, so it is definitely up for next year. :3 and what could be more awesome than a fur con on your birthday? XD

I would do morphicon, but it's roughly $250 in gas, plus reg, so I'd have to make like...$300 just to cover it ;=; and with the economy, and that con being so small, I just can't justify it.
