some sad lj comeback
Well, I guess it is goodbye for old NewS now. :(
I have been away from Ryo and Johnny's Entertainment fandom for more than a year I guess. Then just two months ago, I came back, all thanks to Ryo's drama. It felt like I had a fucking fandom rebirth. And no matter how much I refused to give in, again, RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. I tried to make up for lost time watching and downloading all that I have missed. NewS's concert, pv's, dvds, songs; Eito's cons, shows, pv's, and dvds.
(and I complain about the lost of rainbows, feathery costumes and sparkling jackets. Where have all my shining shimmering Jimusho trademark gone?)
I haven't even redeemed myself in being called a fan. AND THEN...
YAMAPI & RYO WITHDRAWS FROM NEWS?!!!
WOW. SERIOUSLY.
Lately, I have read rumours about a group disbanding. To be honest, I was sort of sure it was NEWS. Since, they have not been seen for a long time and Yamapi was seen having a meeting with Johnny and Mr. International Man. But it just sucks to read it officially. SUCKS BIG TIME.
I am quite sure Ryo has been more comfortable with Eito ever since. At a certain point, I wanted him to just go ahead and quit NewS because he seemed very impatient with other NewS members. Plus, I can hear his voicebox pleading. SRSLY. He even said he's having difficulty being in 2 groups, having to memorize 2 sets of lyrics and dance steps, and answering same questions for magazine interviews repeatedly and has consulted with the jimusho officials about it. But, I still can't believe IT IS FOR REAL. I followed Ryo for some years now, and probably I'm just used to him being in both NewS and Eito.
I am a Nishikido Ryo fan.
I admit that I only became a NewS fan because of Ryo. I followed NewS because of Ryo.
And yes NewS is my very first Jpop money-sucker, liked group.
I also admit that I love kanjani8 much more that NewS.
But then, this is just so unfair, to all fans of NEWS. and that's me included. They could have made a last set of concert together. I guess the out-of-nowhere announcement, just made such a big impact for many.
Cherish, Hoshi wo Mezashite and Snow Express will never be the same.

And then I realized, I just watched the Fighting Man PV last night. WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH.
