I don't have room for another SD-sized doll. Nonetheless, when Customhouse (or Aidolls as they are now) had a crazy "Time Service" sale over Christmas I felt getting a Hyun was just too irresistible. "Too good to be true" crossed my mind several times while I waited well past the promised weeks and others on DoA wailed and said the Time Service

Wow, he's so beautiful!!!!! I was too scared to take advantage of any of those sales, seeing as some people seemed to be never getting their dolls - glad your arrived, he looks great!

Yes, there is a terrible "dead zone" - a window of a few months from more than a year ago now where people are still waiting for their dolls. Since that time, progress has been slow but dolls ARE shipping. The PVC dolls from early-to-mid last year are beginning to ship and I reckon that once those are all out, CH/Aidolls'll start to look to the rest of their crazy backlog. I think the PVC dolls were a big headache of engineering but from all accounts, people are pretty happy with what's shipped so it sounds like that hurdle has FINALLY been surmounted.

I have to say that in this picture my Hyun is looking like a U-noa. Not so pronounced in other photos or in real life but I am definitely still seeing the resemblance. I guess it's Araki's perfect embodiment of the "everydoll"... or something. ^_^
