I really really missed acrylic paints for the lips but I was too cheap to lash out on a tube of blue and/or purple for this one face-up. Today was a doll meet at the Botanical Gardens. Familiar faces were present, but also new ones to keep me on my toes. Lots of beautiful dolls. My Pepe was something of a celebrity. Yesterday I spent the day at Helene's house for a face-up / meet up / play games / hang out day. And I did my first face-up - on my U-noa Sist. I really had a great time, and learned a lot which I'll be using in my second face-up, which will likely be on my Mini Fée Lishe. I finished stringing my Sist last night, and it's love love love.

Ever since I got her on Y!J I've been stealing half-hours here and there to carefully sand her seams. Then I got a couple of hours and some good warm weather to coat her with Mr. Super Clear UV Cut and suddenly... she's all together.

November 4 I took Miki to a meet in the Royal Botanical Gardens. He was the only tiny-sized BJD in attendance and that garnered him a lot of attention. We got to see Soony up-close, who really does look like his older sister. And everyone loved meeting the Bohemian Shiwoo (also pictured).

The other day I fell in love with an impossible doll - an Unoa Sist. They're made in Japan by alchemic laboratory. They run preorders about twice a year or so but not just for the Lusis/Sist. I do love the colder weather, but I am looking forward to the warmer weather, as I think it'll be better for unstringing Miki to give him a wash and a look over. His wig could use a wash as well - it's shedding black fluff (not hair, thankfully!).

I have acquired a modded Mini Fée Lishe head. The head circumference has been greatly reduced and the eye sockets are smaller (it's a modded sleeping head). I thought that instead of sitting on a 41cm doll, with these changes it might suit a 30cm doll, around the size of my Cutie Delf.

So I put it on his body to see what it looked like.
