You are amazing and lovely and musical and a great guide to all things tea and Minneapolis. You write some of the best accompaniments I've ever heard (not exaggerating) and actually write reliably, which counts for a lot and don't you pretend it doesn't. *hug* What's going on? Is there anything I can do?

I doubt it-- but thank you. this is just kind of a mega catastrophically explodey week, none of which I have any power over other than trying to continue to do things that make me cheerful.

I KIND OF DID THIS WHEN YOU CAME TO VISIT BUT I WILL TRY TO COME UP WITH NEW THINGS. You just generally create awesome. You write and make awesome music, you made me an awesome mug, you make awesome fudge, you make awesome corsets, and awesome wedding dresses, and you make awesome friends, and you yourself make an awesome friend. That last part is my favorite.

You are a fiercely awesome friend. You are someone I know I can always count on, and I value that so, so much. You're also like ridiculously beautiful, omg those latest pictures omg, which is a shallow thing to say but sometimes when you're feeling crappy it's nice to walk around thinking WELL AT LEAST I'M PRETTY. You are a naked pictures friend, which you understand what that means and most other people reading this comment will think is much more scandalous than it actually is! And you are all of the above, except you did not send me recent pictures, which is sad. And you are wise, and you write yay fanfic, and I could write a list of like 100 billion ways you are going to hell because that is the kind of friend you are.

"Ditto" doesn't seem fair. You are also insanely generous and you are kind to people even when you have a lot of badness going on in your own life. SO THERE.

I like how there always seems to be an undercurrent of joy with you, in everything you do, even when things suck. You're always able to find things to laugh about, to use exclamation points about! And the littlest things bring you delight. It's like, even when you're unhappy, you still think it's pretty cool to be alive.

You are the most substantial person I ever interact with. This is an example of what I mean: I can genuinely think of the content of 5-10 comments you've left on my LJ in the last two days, just idly, off the top of my head. That is really unusual! This is because whenever you contribute, you have something of value, something of substance, to say-- something I haven't thought of before, something about the larger context, or just something that makes me really happy, like the above! (And you're right-- even when I'm unhappy, I do think being alive is pretty awesome.)

I've always admired you tremendously. If you don't know that by now, I am really confused.
