This is very differently, stylistically speaking, than a lot of my work, but I really loved it for that. The fic I've written like that is some of my favourite, it's not my best, but it was more of a stretch writing it, and, yeah, that's satisfying in its own way.
I think I've read Chiaroscuro before... I liked all the repetitions in it, like history is moving in circles. :)
My favourite was Like a Devil's Sick of Sin, though. I'm not sure why precisely. I think just because it seemed to come naturally to them, and that she's probably the only person ever who actually knew him.
