Awsome sweater cake! I LOVE it!!! :) Your Christmas tree and presents look so adorable. Me wants.<3<3<3 I don't really care for penut briddle but the pictures of your homemade version are making me want some. :q
I wish we could splurge on gifts! The wrapping this year is so neat. Still don't know if I like the silver and blue or the brown paper from last year more.
I saw your ugly sweater cake on twitter! It turned out great! One day I'll get to go to one of those parties!
Also, so cool that the NY Times interviewed you! Link us when you find the article :)
Yummo peanut brittle! I haven't had any in years! And cool glow bike!
Aw thanks, it's not been all great. Someone hacked my itunes account and spent almost $100 out of my bank account. We'd already spent WAY too much on Christmas and it was really scary. Apple was super cool and they're fixing it, but it's going to take a while to get the money back in the account. Basically, we had no extra money. By Christmas miracle, at the bar Christmas party, our boss gave us each $75. We spent it all on groceries and covering our bank account from overdraft. I'm so thankful it all worked out, but yeah, I probably won't see that money until after the new year! Yikes.
holy crap - you guys really must spend an arm and a leg on x-mas! our family has this unspoken law that x-mas presents are for the little hooligans. the adult members of our family usually get little treat tins and mixed cds. my husband and i don't even trade presents! hahaha.
Yeah, usually Brian and I don't trade gifts. This year I went a liiiitle overboard. I've been eating sandwiches from home every day for lunch and I haven't had coffee in about 3 weeks because I've spent every extra penny I've had on Chrsitmas. Including some of my savings account money. At least a dozen of those gifts are for my nieces though. I was sort of out of control lol
After i commented on this, i accidentally came across an e-mail with a flight confirmation from here to portland (where my best friend lives)...apparently, my husband did buy me a gift :) for us, we are always SOOOO broke during nov. and dec. - it's around the time financial aid from fall term runs out and before financial aid from spring term comes. i love gift-giving, it's so much fun!
