What a weekend I had! I decided to do some home improvements. We went to Ikea and got a new rug and new bedding. The new bed stuff is magically comfy, I can't keep the animals off of it!

Biking. Painting. Cake baking. And throw in some throw pillow stitching? Yeah. Ok, you are just ridiculous, lol. I'll never stop admiring your for living as if nothing is holding you back :)
Hahahaha Thank you! It was a busy weekend for sure. I just knew if I didn't all get done, it would all end up being put off forever. This was a lot of stuff we'd been planning to do for a long time, I sort of just wanted to get it all done in one weekend and get it out of the way!
It really wasn't that hard! I bought a yard and a half of the green fabric and cut 10"x10" squares while it was still folded in half, if that makes sense. So that only left me 3 sides to stitch. I sewed the sides and most of the bottom with the fabric inside out and left about 6 inches in the center open. Then I turned them right side out and packed a whole bag of stuffing into each one and stitched up the remaining opening on the bottom. That made the top of the pillow the side with no stitching at all, so it looks very clean. The sides were stitched on the inside, so also pretty clean looking. The only outside seam is just that little bit at the bottom. Hope that made ANY sense at all! haha
I see a lot of productivity in your week! LOVE the orange. I almost painted my kitchen that color and chickened out! I had the paint and everything and ended up gifting it!
I love Ikea. Pains me that the closest one is a 6 freaking hour ride.
Again I love the Adventure Time cake! Soooo neato!
Oh man! You should have done it. I guess I'm not one to talk, it's taken us 3 years to finally take the plunge. I'm thrilled with the results though! The whole room looks just awesome!
Our Ikea is only 45 minutes way, but the closest used to be about 6 hours! haha
I think i was worried because at the time my living room was a lime green that was pretty intense. I may consider doing it -- or maybe selecting the color for Jeff's office.
Yeah -- I know Ikea will NEVER COME HERE ( :/ ), but, I think Tulsa would be a great location for one and it is only a 2 hour drive!
