As it was, with the officer being a woman, we got no leeway whatsoever. Couldn't even play the race card if I had been inclined to - it was a black lady officer busting me and two white women. 9_9

C'est la vie. Such is life.

Even sexier.

You know, I STILL haven't paid the ticket I got from the DART police back in June. When I called the courthouse on the court date posted on the ticket, they said that ticket number wasn't on file, and that the officers tend to just put a court date on there that doesn't necassarily match the court date set by the COURTHOUSE. So I should call back later and see if the ticket came in yet.

Then about a week later I got fired from Gamestop and was too busy looking for a job.

Then, I got hired at Terminal Reality, and even if I had REMEMBERED the ticket, I'd be too busy AT a job.

And so it's still sitting on my desk, sticking out from under a tonberry plush. I just noticed it again this morning, and thought "Maybe they forgot about that bus....."

That really works out! ^__^ So far we got four votes for the fair - and I know I want to go so I can blow money on the goblet game and try and get yet another stuffed animal. ^^

And hangin' out with Steffers is always fun. ^_^
