1) I thought i was the only one who owned that Jimmy Buffett CD
2) What kind of church was it?
3) My sermon today was about remembering - and that some people took more time and effort to remember than others
4) It would be judgemental of me to say that that church blows, but i think i should say it anyway...

1. hell no - i love buffett. i think my favorite is coconut telegraph. have that one?
2. non denominational as far as i could tell. it was called life church or something... suspiciously like a cult, eh?
3. interesting... what about remembering? were they saying we should do so more? or less? like forgive and forget type thing...
4. oh, don't worry. i'm fairly sure that church does in fact blow

My Sermon was really early in the morning, but was about how wonderful spring time and sunlight is. Very much like, let's just all be Happy. :) That's the episcopal church for you.

Seriously, though, I agree. But that requires coffee, wine and discussions to clarify...

Yep, it blows. herrfirebird April 12 2004, 09:22:30 UTC
I had a similarly dismal experience with my own church a little over a week ago. Now I seem to be the only one who didn't bother with church even on Easter. Didn't miss it.
