i just got back from a week of family vacation, and i think i've learned a few things. first, grandpas arenot in fact invincable. he's lost so much weight hardly recognize him. it's not like he was large or anything beforehand - he just looked healthy. and now he doesn't. on the bright side, his labored breathing was most definitely covered

Sadly, on the grandma front, I feel your pain - although my grandmother's I can attribute to TERRIBLE societies in which she grew up. And ganging up is silly, especially 'cause you're right. And shouldn't we BE idealistic? What's wrong with demanding the BEST from a country that could EASILY provide it?

Fourthly, I'm sorry about your grandpa. I know how you feel all too well, and it's odd how badly I want to be six and crawl into his lap and have him tell me stories and show me how to play cards. Grandfather's should definatly be invincible.

I guess you had a good time vacationing with the fam (i think?). Hehe, as for the politics thing, yea, don't even try. And the phone thing? It's true--the more convenient and accessible technology becomes, the less people will put it to use. They can always call, so they don't. But if you were in prison, and you only had one phone call that you could make, hell yea, you're gonna call.
