There's a cave after route 32. Anything interesting about it besides a long hike? Perhaps there are other better caves to explore than this?

To be honest, the only cave you actually might want to explore is Mt. Mortar. It's east of Ecruteak.

I haven't seen Goldeen or Sandshrew anywhere else, so that could be it.

There's also an incredibly rare Pokemon in the cave. You might be able to see it, but you wouldn't be able to catch it. There's also a treasure chest that has products of gold sticking out, but it's really hard to open it.
