My previous OS, Linux Mint, had some kind of bug and I finally grew sick of it, so I asked my father to install something else. He chose Ubuntu and let me test it on his computer to see how I liked it. It seemed pretty cool. That was two days ago

I had a milder case of this with Chrome. One time I tried it out in Japanese, only to find it refused to be put into any other language. The only way to get it back to English was to reinstall it, but I didn't want to lose my bookmarks. So it's still in Japanese. ¯\(°_o)/¯

(But I'll take you forever for NOT taking a pic of your father's face when it turned out the whole system was in Japanese. It must have been priceless. XD)

Nah, actually, I wasn't present when my father first discovered the system was in Japanese. I'd taken a break for a quick snack, fully believing that my father was just making sure all the programs were installed, then I came back and the dialogue was as follows:
Me: Hey, dad, you must be tired, why don't you get some res--WTF, WHY IS EVERYTHING IN JAPANESE?!! ºДº
Dad: I don't know! XD;
Me: What did you do?!?!?!
Dad: Nothing! D: It was like that after we rebooted it! (I'm innocent, I swear!)
... So, I suppose my own face must have actually been funnier than my dad's. XD
