Since when we can't copy fics from FF.net?!

This is most aggravating. :|

I understand that this is supposed to protect authors from plagiarism, but I happen to like copying and pasting my favorite fics on Word so that I can read them when I have no Internet access or even after the fics are deleted by the authors, or to study foreign languages. D

It's been like that for months now. If you want to get a fic, you should install a program called FanFictionDownloader here. It allows you to download fics as pdf and it's a lot more convenient than copying and pasting since you can tell it to download the entire fic at one go.

What browser do you use? You might be able to download an add-on or extension to make the text selectable again. I use Chrome and I've got a user style which makes it work just like before.

(I hated the changes too, because I have a multi-language pop-up dictionary extension and I need to click on words to get a definition).

I use Firefox, but I also have Chrome. What add-on/extension do you use?

I use the Stylish extension, which is available for both Firefox and Chrome. I think the style I'm using is this one.

There was also a bit of discussion about this and other options here.
