My CV is too long...

Back when I was still learning how to write a CV, people told me to put as much information as possible, whatever seemed remotely relevant ( Read more... )

Maybe you could take out some of the parts that feel the least necessary for what you're aiming at. For example, if you want to come across as a good translator, take out stuff that isn't relevant to that. I was also told to keep removing old work experience when I get more of it because the recent experience is more relevant than something that I did years ago.

That makes sense. I'll try to do that, although the thought of actually removing any info from my CV still feels so weird, haha! XD I mean, I tried so hard to come up with stuff to put in it in the first place... But I realize it's time to move on and focus.

Haha you can't win right?? Like you want to put in everything so that they know how qualified you are, but at the same time they're not gonna take the time to read more than 2 pages. It's a fine catch-22. :\ Good luck though!! <3
