So the language lab looks like it's not going to be too bad. I'm mainly going to have to do stuff that Iris calls and tells me to do, practice with the new equipment, and show people how to use things if they don't know ( Read more... )

i know at my church back at home we only do communion on teh first sunday of the month as well..why i don't know...but i don't think its a bad thing if you do it every week..but thats just me

Alright, so looking at my e-mail (yeah, no one is in the Lab) I probably can't bring you. I have class for both blocks in the morning, then I have work, need to eat lunch, have a class in the afternoon, and that ends at 3. So that only leaves an hour and I'm not sure if that's enough time for you. Call me or something.

I think we just have commmunion once a month to make it more significant and to save time in the service. All churches have some differences in worship, so if you like it, don't worry about it not being just like Bethany. Churches that aren't Covenant aren't bad, they're just different, so don't think that a church has to be exactly the same as ours. Just go with what feels right to you.

Yeah, I started thinking it might be the significance thing. Thanks Emily. I really do like this church that I'm going to. I think it's Anglican or something, but it's nice and unlike some of the churches down here (mainly Catholic) communion isn't restricted to their denomination, so I'll rpobably keep going there.
