So...Virginia Tech. I'm sure people have heard all the details by now, so I don't want to just reiterate what everybody already knows. So far all the people I know that go there are fine, and so far I only know of one person who was shot that any of my friends know. As of right now that person is in the hospital in stable condition though.
It scares me that this could happen anywhere. I mean, VT is a huge campus, and if it happened here? It would've been so much easier to make it clear across campus. I mean, you can run from the New Dorms or Sections over to west in what? 3 minutes? Tops? And if you were to go to EC it wouldn't even take much longer, you'd just have traffic that way. And in a school this small you'd pretty much be guaranteed to know somebody.
But enough with the morbid thoughts. Part of me just hates being so close and not being able to do anything about it but pray. We're what? 40 minutes away? And all we can do is watch.
Yeah, be praying for VT, the families and friends of those that died or are injured, and just people around the world that might be emotionally affected by this right now.
