So I've been in PA for a week
...at least to drive through. No offense to anyone living there but:
Apparently in Annancock when Sam Studley rolls his family SUV into a soy field, spilling the contents of that little turtle shell thingey on top of it, scattering his shit all over the shoulder EVERY emergency vehicle in the county shows up to block 6 lanes of traffic and direct everyone through the turn lane. There was even some random fireman 100 yards AFTER the road block waving the traffic (going 40 at least by this point) through "yep, continue to drive folks!"
There is a Beer, Guns, Cigarettes, Fireworks and Pork (Ham, Bacon and Sausage) FRANCHISE in Virginia -- I swear I saw like 5 of the same place. 5 ways to kill yourself at varying speeds.
Christiansburg is right next to Blacksburg... The local hospital is in Blacksburg though, according to the road signs.... Did I mention I was staying in White Haven PA all week? We went swimming one day and I think I saw every black person in the county -- all 8 of them. I also saw a BYOB Strip Club, you have to wonder, who's running that place? The strippers are the only ones making money...
We passed through Richmond on the way up and I literally saw road signs pointing the same highway in two different directions, "23 North is that way <<<.... oh yeah and 23 North is also that way >>>"
This one wasn't in Virginia, but it might as well have been, at one point, on the way home, I was traveling on I81 South and I77 North AT THE SAME TIME.
Also, I think SR-11 was haunting me. I think I must have crossed a State road 11 at least 3 times in EVERY state I drove through.
