"You will!"
"I won't!"
"Damn it, Sam! I am not arguing with you about this!"
"Fine." Sam clenched his jaw, growling out the word before turning on his heel and marching to his bedroom. The door closed with a resounding slam.
"Fine." John echoed disgustedly. He’d never hated a word as much as he’d come to hate that one.
Every day, there seemed to be a new argument, some new depth to Sam’s anger. John figured the time was soon coming when they would come to blows.
He wondered, when they did, if either of them would be left standing.
