Did I stay with a horrible person for so long??? I could kick myself in the ass over and over again. I look back, and can't believe it. The person that I'm with now is the complete opposite, and treats me REALLY good. Kinda scary in a way

If you want, I'll go with you. You'll be able to tell within the first three sessions or so if it's a waste of time or if it'll feel a whole lot better to know there's other people going through some of what you're going through...and maybe who have some suggestions on how to cope. Heck, your going might be good for THEM!

As for the Barbarian's father...I know it's really high handed of me to say so, but I think the fact that he's going to jail for DUI is one of MANY reasons why he should not have unsupervised contact with the Barbarian. I hate to say it, because I know he does love the Barbarian, but he has used the Barbarian against you, and that's not love, that's control.
