So, to summarise this post *grins*

1) you gardened all day!!! My response? Woohoooooooooooooooooooooo

2) Life is a mandlebrot set. (Or is it mandlebrotset? I'm too tired to go check, soz mate) My response? Hell yeah it is. I can't really conprehend how not everyone realises this because my brain is a mandlebrotset too. Like yours.

"Mandelbrot Set"... if you're interested Benoit Mandelbrot's memoir is REALLY REALLY good... except you never get to find out WHO was his angel benefactor who paid for his private school and helped him escape the Nazis by moving him "for school" to a new country like... 4 times as a kid.

Did you know that holograms work the same way as the fractal geometry? Where every miniscule portion of any hologram, contains the entirety of the picture it's making. You can shred a hologram and still reproduce it perfectly from any tiny piece of one.

The world is is more layered and interconnected than we like to believe on the surface.

I always thought having a photographic memory would be a huge burden. Is it?

Also, "if I need heard"...wait, did you spend time in/are you from Pennsylvania?!

I think its 1: a huge privilege to do what you want but also... 2: kind of a responsibility in life (if your wants are socially/personally positive and not harmful to others) BECAUSE we need more people teaching that we are "enough" as we are and our needs/wants/desires/dreams/inspiration/etc are... important parts of our individual lives and EVEN more important than "work" sometimes.

Ah ok! Thanks for explaining your memory there. I'll BET it was handy! Especially in grade school, my goodness haha what kid doesn't dream of that ability.

I thought you might be secretly from PA because you said, "I can listen to myself, if I need heard."

You used what's called "needs washed" or "need + past participle", which is a very Pennsylvania-dialect thing: https://ygdp.yale.edu/phenomena/needs-washed

I'm from PA and grew up around people who spoke like this, so seeing you type it made me do a double take haha.

Huh, I wonder how you got an east-coast-southern accent! Language and dialect are so interesting. Finally, a construct more interesting than harmful (mostly)

That is so interesting and I'd never ever heard of that, and I can't tell you where I picked it up.
I know that it *feels* nicer/easier to phrase how something I need now as a thing that has already been done. My laundry doesn't need washing today... it "needs washed" because I want it done yesterday. Ha!
