I'm sorry for intruding/seeming like a stalker, but I stumbled across your journal through your tumblr/the princess tutu tag and I have never come across any good Princess Tutu fic and wonder if you might recommend me a few good ones? (On the same wavelength, I am reading your au!fic and totally loving it as well!)

No problem! While I can't think of any decent multi-chapter pieces to recommend you, I do know of quite a few oneshots that I think are just lovely. <333 (Though I don't really read alt-pairing stuff, so hopefully that's not what you're looking for!? SORRY IN ADVANCE.)

A smattering of favorites:

Anything by web_of, but particularly The Hearth (Mytho/Rue), Bad Blood (Fakir and Rue after the story, which I find really interesting since no one really writes about their interactions), and The Doll-Woman (really excellent, thoughtful piece about Edel).

Wishes of the Heart by xtwilightzx (post-series Fakir/Ahiru! I may be biased because it was written for me, though. <333)

Within the Dreams of Candlelight (post-series Fakir/Ahiru) and could not erase it (Rue-centric, really interestingly structured) by intentationem (Though, again, pretty much all her PT fics are worthwhile!).

Elektra3 has a half-completed 30 Kisses challenge for Fakir/Ahiru which contains some really beautiful pieces. She also wrote Four People Rue Never Killed, which very much disturbed me

OHHHH. All of these sound indescribably lovely, and I will have so many fun choking on my Princess Tutu feelings! Thank you so much for taking the time to compile and list them all-it must have taken quite a while and no worries! I'm not one for alt-pairings, either. (I have seen bad fics, one of which is Anteater/Mytho and ugh. No.) And yes, I would love it if you would link me to your fic once it is finished!

Sorry if this sounds weird as well but I found your LJ after reading your Tokikake story - it actually made me laugh and cry at the same time, it was just the perfect ending I'd hoped for after watching that brilliant movie! I know it's been awhile now but I wanted you to know that I couldn't get it out of my head - and if you could write some more it would just make my life!!! - Oli
