I actually finished something today. I finished One Sock. So of course this is not a pair of socks which would be a complete set, but I'm 2 inches into the 2nd sock and I thought it would be nice to celebrate this small victory. The picture is here. re the perm, wait a week after getting it before swimming. I've heard horror stories of permed hair falling out in the pool.

Thanks for the warning! That does sound rather scary. And I'm sure management would be unahppy with my hair in their pool.
