In which I rabble about perfumes...

Lately I've been obsessed with perfumes. I think it's because I can't get a tattoo, so I have been projecting my "gotta get a new one" urges onto perfumes (of all things). I have one perfume that I'm very happy with as a summer fragrance, and that's "LAMB fragrance" by Gwen Stefani (please don't laugh, I even wore it on my wedding day!). On a warm

My sister wears Angel and I like it a lot. I'm glad you got a compliment when you were wearing yours. Mmmm beer battered chips......

Angel is supposed to be one of the more expensive, upscale perfumes, and it's supposed to be really well-made. I'm glad you found it to your liking. I don't think I could buy a scent without trying it out first. Most man-made perfumes tend not to smell too lovely on me. For some reason, I do better with oils, but good quality oils can be hard to find, and expensive.

I think I had smelled it before (years ago), but yeah, I did take a risk! I like essential oils too, but finding wearable blends (and good quality oils as you say) can be a challenge.

Angel has gotten good reviews all over the place.

I used to get my essential oils from this occult shop on 9th Street and 1st Avenue in NYC, called Enchantments. I used to know the people there, but they've moved since then, and the place has changed a lot, to the point where I'm not comfortable there anymore. There is such a thing as people who are too weird.

Yeah, there sure is. I remember when I went to a workshop at a crystal/gift shop in Townsville (far north QLD, Australia) and the woman started "channelling" dolphins and aliens (among other things). It kind of wrecked the shop for me after that! I don't mind when ppl are a little weird and quirky, but come on!
