Chanel handbags are overrated.
I get what you're saying about death ... unlike you, I've lost quite a few people in my life, both young and old, of long, painful illnesses and sudden, tragic accidents or violence. When my mom died, I became convinced that there was an afterlife. Periodically my faith in that has been shaken. Right now I just say I'm Pagan, not Wiccan or a witch. I feel like I'm grappling with the mysteries of the Universe, and I know less and less and nothing is certain.
I'm glad you had a good Samhain. Happy New Year, and bright blessings for the cycle of the Wheel of the Year ahead!
