I'm not much of a Pagan these days.
It must be weird with everyone celebrating commercial Halloween while you're celebrating Beltaine. It's like they're kind of missing the point of what Halloween actually means ... but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
I use a lot of CBT and DBT skills when it comes to managing my emotions and thoughts. I find it very helpful. I don't meditate, except to maybe spend some part of each day lying in bed, thinking, clearing my head and listening to music.

What you did for Samhain sounds lovely. I would more accurately say that you aren't much of a practicing Pagan, since your beliefs are still Pagan. It's hard to fit a spiritual practice into your life, especially when you deal with all the extra stuff that we folks with MI have to deal with on top of everything else.
It's great that you use CBT and DBT skills. What you do in bed at night sounds a lot like meditation, clearing your head especially. So it's good that you do that because meditation is so beneficial. I notice the difference so much when I don't do it.
I adapted the chant from one of my Fiona Horne books. I am getting back into writing poetry and hoping to write more of my own chants.
